The best farmhouse kitchen sink in this collection depends on the tradeoff that matters most: uninterrupted bowl space, separate work zones, workstation function, or apron style.

Choose the reversible fluted workstation model when you want one large bowl, an integrated accessory ledge, and the option to display either a smooth or fluted farmhouse apron front. Its 31″ × 17¾″ × 9″ interior bowl provides more space for sheet pans, large pots, and oversized cookware than a divided layout.

Choose the double-bowl workstation model when separating washing, rinsing, soaking, and food preparation matters more than one open basin. Its two equal bowls each measure 15″ × 17¾″ × 9″ and have separate 3.5-inch drain openings. This layout supports simultaneous tasks but provides less uninterrupted room for full-size baking sheets and stockpots.

Choose the smooth-apron workstation model when you want a clean modern look with over-the-sink prep and drying space. It combines a 30¾″ × 17¾″ × 9″ single bowl with a smooth apron on both sides and the full workstation accessory kit.

Choose the standard reversible model when you want one open bowl and the choice of a smooth or fluted apron without an integrated workstation ledge. It includes a fitted stainless steel bottom grid and basket-strainer drain rather than the full four-piece workstation kit.

Plan a 33-Inch Farmhouse Sink for a 36-Inch Cabinet

All current sinks in this collection measure 33″ × 20″ × 10″ externally and require a minimum 36-inch base cabinet. The shared exterior size does not mean the models have the same interior dimensions, bowl layout, weight, or plumbing requirements.

Before ordering, confirm the sink dimensions, interior dimensions, apron height, drain configuration, product weight, and minimum cabinet size for the selected model. Current sink weights range from approximately 100 to 115 lb.

Because fireclay is hand-finished, dimensions may vary by approximately ±⅛ inch. Measure the delivered sink before modifying the cabinetry, building the support frame, or fabricating the countertop cutout.

The solid fireclay body requires dedicated structural support beneath the basin. The countertop should not carry the sink’s full weight. Cabinet framing, side-wall thickness, plumbing, and the support structure can also reduce the usable interior cabinet space.

Current single-bowl models use one standard 3.5-inch center drain. The double-bowl model uses two 3.5-inch drain openings, so the installer must plan for two drain assemblies, waste connections, the P-trap, support frame, and any garbage disposal.

Fireclay Sink Surface Care

The glossy white, non-porous fireclay sink surface is designed for regular washing, food preparation, and cleanup. For easy cleaning, use warm water, a soft cloth or sponge, and a mild non-abrasive cleaner.

Avoid steel wool, aggressive abrasive pads, heavy impacts, and sudden extreme temperature changes. Use the included stainless steel bottom grid to keep cookware elevated and help protect the glazed basin from direct contact with dishes, pans, and utensils.

33 Inch Kitchen Sink — Common Questions

Usually not. A 33-inch farmhouse sink normally requires a minimum 36-inch base cabinet to provide enough usable interior room for the sink body, apron front, side clearance, support frame, and plumbing. For a 33-inch base cabinet, compare 30-inch farmhouse sink models instead. Measure the usable interior cabinet width rather than relying only on the cabinet’s stated exterior size.

The current models share the same approximate exterior dimensions of 33″ × 20″ × 10″, but their interior dimensions, bowl layouts, depths, weights, drain configurations, and accessories differ. The single-bowl models provide approximately 30¾ to 31 inches of uninterrupted interior width. The double-bowl model divides the space into two equal 15-inch-wide bowls. Review the selected model’s specification sheet before planning the support frame, plumbing, cabinet opening, or countertop cutout.

A single bowl is generally better for full-size baking sheets, roasting pans, stockpots, and other oversized cookware because there is no center divider reducing the available basin width. Choose the double-bowl model when keeping washing, rinsing, soaking, or food preparation in separate zones is more important than uninterrupted space.

The workstation models include a sapele cutting board, roll-up drying rack, stainless steel bottom grid or grid set, and drain assembly.
