Common Questions
Before you decide.
Is NOZLOO fireclay genuine?
Yes. Every NOZLOO sink is made from natural clay fired at 2,200°F — the same material and process used by established fireclay brands. The firing temperature, glaze density, and weight (120 lbs) are consistent with the highest-grade fireclay on the market.
What if my sink arrives damaged?
Every sink is inspected before shipping, but if something happens in transit, we'll send a replacement at no cost. No forms. No runaround. Just reach out and we handle it.
How is NOZLOO priced between $479 and $599?
We design our own sinks and sell them through nozloo.com — which means fewer steps between the kiln and your kitchen. The result is a well-priced fireclay sink without compromising on material, weight, or warranty coverage.
How heavy is a fireclay sink, and does it need special installation?
NOZLOO fireclay sinks weigh approximately 120 lbs. Professional installation is strongly recommended — you'll need two people to lift and position the sink, and your base cabinet may need internal reinforcement. We include detailed installation templates and instructions with every order.
What does reversible apron front mean?
Every NOZLOO sink has two different front panel designs — one on each side. You choose which side faces out during installation. If you ever want a different look, you can flip it. Two designs, one sink, no extra cost.
How do I care for a fireclay sink?
Fireclay is non-porous, so it doesn't absorb liquids or stains. Daily cleaning is simple — warm water, mild soap, and a soft cloth. No sealants, no special products. Avoid abrasive pads or harsh chemicals like bleach. The glazed surface stays white without yellowing over time.
What are the pros and cons of a fireclay sink?
Pros: extremely durable, chip-resistant, stain-proof, heat-tolerant, naturally quiet, and the glaze won't yellow. Cons: fireclay is heavy (120 lbs requires professional installation and cabinet reinforcement), and it's a higher upfront cost than stainless steel or basic ceramic. For most homeowners renovating once, the durability makes it a strong long-term choice.
What accessories come with a workstation sink?
Workstation models include five accessories in the box: a sapele wood cutting board with drain groove, an upgraded roll-up drying rack with detachable utensil pocket, a stainless steel bottom grid, a drain assembly, and an installation guide. The ledge rails are built into the sink — slide the accessories on and start using them immediately.
